Turntable Operator – Local Content Register

About This Position

The Turntable Operator is responsible for operating a mechanical turntable used in pipe spooling activities within the Asset-Based Non-Drilling business line. The successful candidate will report to the Operations Lead or Operations Manager and must operate equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with operational procedures. The role also involves routine maintenance, equipment inspections, and adherence to HSE requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate mechanical turntables safely and efficiently during pipe spooling activities
  • Set up, monitor, and control turntable operations in line with operational procedures
  • Inspect turntable equipment before, during, and after operations to ensure safe functionality
  • Operate related mechanical equipment such as winches, pumps, and workshop machinery
  • Read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, schematics, and operational manuals
  • Perform routine mechanical and/or electrical checks and basic maintenance
  • Identify and report equipment faults, defects, or unsafe conditions promptly
  • Follow all safety, health, and environmental (HSE) requirements and company policies
  • Maintain accurate operational records and report to the Operations Lead or Manager
  • Work closely with the operations team to ensure smooth and efficient workflow
